Summary of the programme:
On 15th November 2025, the Huffaz Leadership Programme (HLP), successfully organized the “Navigating Leadership as a Muslimah: Challenges and Commitments” talk. The programme aimed to inspire, empower, and develop leadership skills among university students, particularly women, enabling participants to build confidence, enhance resilience, and develop a strong leadership mindset, and acquire strategies to navigate leadership roles effectively.The programme received an encouraging response, with 47 students in attendance. An interactive session allowed attendees to engage with the facilitators, reflecting strong interest and enthusiasm for the topics discussed.
This initiative aligns with HLP’s mission to nurture confident and capable women leaders who can excel not only in academic and professional settings but also in leadership roles within the university and beyond.
Paticipants found Prof. Rahmah’s sharing of her life challenges and leadership journey deeply inspiring. Her emphasis that leadership is a responsibility, not a power, and that women are born to lead, gave attendees new motivation. The Q&A and experience-sharing sessions clarified the role of women in leadership and encouraged participants to trust in Allah, persevere through hardships, and contribute to the ummah.
