Summary of the programme:
Alhamdulillah, Huffaz Sejahtera Leadership Program successfully held The Reviving The Ummah Through Intellectual Solidarity program on 17th July 2025 through an online session with 100 in attendance in collaboration with Jam’iyyatu Khadamatil Quran (JKQ) and Persatuan Mahasiswa Malaysia University Mu’tah (PERMATA). The program ran smoothly from start to finish, with active participation and positive engagement from the attendees.
The event began at 8.00pm with opening remarks and a recitation of the Holy Qur’an. This was followed by a welcoming speech from Naib Ameer of HSLP and the President of JKQ as well as an opening speech by the President of PERMATA who introduced the objectives and significance of the program.
The main highlight of the program was the Forum Session, which ran from 8.20pm to 9.35pm. During this session, invited speakers from Mut’ah University and one of Huffaz Sejahtera Leadership Program members shared valuable insights, personal experiences, and thought-provoking ideas that captured the audience’s attention. This was followed by a lively Q&A Session, where participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and gain further clarification on the topics discussed.
Before the event concluded, a closing remarks session was delivered to wrap up the night, followed by a photography session to commemorate the gathering. The program officially ended at 10.00pm.
Participants shared that they enjoyed listening to the speakers’ experiences and felt more motivated to show solidarity for Palestine. For future improvement, the program can be held on a platform with a larger capacity such as Zoom to accommodate more participants, as many were unable to join due to the Google Meet limit.
Overall, the event successfully met its objective of strengthening intellectual and spiritual solidarity between Malaysian students in Jordan and Malaysia in response to the ongoing Palestinian struggle by fostering ukhuwah, raising awareness, and promoting intellectual da’wah through collaborative engagement. We express our sincere gratitude to all parties involved for their dedication and support in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.
Jazakumullahu khayran to everyone who contributed to the success of the program!
