Summary of the program:
Alhamdulillah, Huffaz Leadership Program (HLP) successfully organized Reviving The Ummah Through Intellectual Solidarity 2.0 program on 15th September 2025 via an online session, with 30 participants in attendance. The program was held in collaboration with Jam’iyyatu Khadamatil Quran (JKQ) and Persatuan Mahasiswa Malaysia University Mu’tah (PERMATA). The event ran smoothly from start to finish, with active participation and positive engagement from the attendees.
The program was reintroduced as Version 2.0 following the positive feedback and encouraging response received from participants in the first session. The event began at 8.00 p.m. with opening remarks and a recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a welcoming speech from Naib Ameer of HLP and the President of JKQ, who introduced the objectives and significance of the program.
The highlight of the night was the Forum Session, which ran from 8.15 p.m. to 9.35 p.m., featuring speakers from IIUM, who is the founder of Dakwah Islam ID, and Mut’ah University, who shared valuable insights, personal experiences, and thought-provoking ideas that captured the audience’s attention. This was followed by a lively Q&A session, where participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and gain further clarification on the topics discussed.
Before concluding, a closing remarks segment was delivered, followed by a photography session to commemorate the occasion. The event officially ended at 10.00 p.m.
Participants shared that they enjoyed listening to the speakers’ experiences and felt more motivated to show solidarity for Palestine. For future improvement, they suggested having a face-to-face discussion to make the session more interactive. Promotion efforts should also be improved to encourage more people to join, since the attendance for Version 2.0 was lower than the first session.
Overall, the event successfully met its objective of strengthening intellectual and spiritual solidarity between Malaysian students in Jordan and Malaysia in response to the ongoing Palestinian struggle by fostering ukhuwah, raising awareness, and promoting intellectual da’wah through collaborative engagement. We express our sincere gratitude to all parties involved for their dedication and support in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.
Jazakumullahu khayran to everyone who contributed to the success of the program!
