In the Huffaz Sejahtera Leadership Program workshop, Prof. Fadzlin emphasized the importance of leadership that goes beyond personal goals, focusing on serving others with dedication and commitment. She outlined key attributes of effective leadership, including integrity and sincerity, the need for continuous learning (especially in Islamic studies and global knowledge), mental and physical strength to face challenges, and the ability to observe and respond to the needs of others. She also highlighted the importance of selfless service, trustworthiness, and striving for Ihsan, or excellence, by remembering that Allah is always watching and seeking His pleasure in all actions. Prof. Fadzlin stressed that true leadership is about earning Allah’s approval and being accountable for one’s actions, especially in youth. Throughout the workshop, participants reflected on their strengths and weaknesses through self-assessment activities, engaging in discussions that focused on sincere motivation and the balance between self-reliance and dependence on Allah. In conclusion, the workshop reinforced the idea that effective leadership is about personal growth, aligning one’s actions with the goal of seeking Allah’s pleasure, and contributing positively to the community.
